TAROT ALS EEN REIS

Op dertienjaarige leeftijd, ergens in een kast vond Nikki een ongeopende Tarot spel van haar moeder. Ze begon een speurtocht naar verschillende interpretaties en kaard-volgorden, wat uiteindelijk tot het leren en herontdekken van de Tarot leidde

At thirteen years old, somewhere in a cupboard Nikki found an unopened Tarot deck that belonged to her mom. She began researching different interpretations and card orders, ultimately learning and rediscovering the Tarot in a variety of ways. Each card became an invitation to see what Nikki's guides or inner-knowing would like them to know, a means to put words to their feelings and how to work trough them with more support or a nudge to recenter into the present moment.

Honouring the Lineage

Within Nalite, we bow deeply to Romani readers for revolutionising and popularising the Tarot, while also acknowledging the continued oppression Roma face. Cartomancy is only fair when those who contributed most are uplifted and compensated. Nalite does not condone or perpetuate the appropriation of closed Romani practises. "zelfvertrouwen bij mijn volgende stappen"

Ik voelde me heel snel bij Nikki op mijn gemak. Haar vriendelijke en ongedwongen houding zorgde ervoor dat ik snel kon ontspannen. Ik zag dat ze vrijwel meteen inschakelde. Ze begon met het laten zien van het kaartendecks en zei dat ik zelf mocht kiezen welk deck me aansprak, wat ik erg prettig vond. De tijd vloog voorbij. Er kwamen veel verschillende onderwerpen voorbij waarin ik me heel erg herkende. Nikki sloeg met alles echt de spijker op z'n kop. Dat ging ook vanzelf, het leek geen moeite, ze aarzelde geen seconde.
